Tovah's first month!!

Tovah is my new niece (well, the only niece actually!)
She was born a month ago... How time flies!!

I took these photos of her a couple of weeks ago and had been neglecting to post, but here they are.

She is adorable!

Laura and Saro

Laura and Saro got married at the beautiful Pleasantdale Chateau in West Orange NJ. I had photographed there last summer and I knew that it was going to be a cool place to photograph. Of course we are in a completely different season, so I knew that I was going to do a lot of indoors. The weather was actually not bad and Laura and Saro were troopers and accepted doing a couple of shots outside.

My favorite shot however was one we did inside, right outside the room where the party took pace. Laura is reflected in a mirror that was mounted right next to Saro.

Here are some shots of the day:

I love umbrellas!!

Last Saturday I photographed Melanie and Anthony's wedding at Fox Hollow in Woodbury, Long Island.

Despite some drizzling, we had a fun time taking photos. I love umbrellas and I was lucky enough to get three big ones from Fox Hollow. We stepped outside for a little while with Melanie, Anthony and the bridal party and got some umbrella magic...

Here are some photos from the day and from the fun engagement shoot we had a few months ago:

Beautiful Princeton!

Saturday I photographed Alexis and Tim's wedding at the Prospect House in Princeton University.
That campus is gorgeous!! Everywhere I looked I found a good setting to take photos, and not to fall short, the weather was just fantastic!!

Alexis and Tim gave me lots of time to take photos and walk around campus and were so much fun to work with.

New Year's weekend Wedding bash!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

New Year's weekend was full of weddings for me and my team! Christopher and Rachel were such troopers. We survived the 4 hrs of sleep nights ;) Thank you guys!!

Saturday and Sunday were Malena, Jesse, Lauren and Josephs weddings. No, it was not a foursome... they were two different weddings.... ;) Malena and Jesse got married at this cool spot in L.I.C, The Foundry; a 19th Century Foundry that was restored and converted into a party place. Industrial looking, but modern at the same time (just my style ;) )
Very cool looking!!

Lauren and Joseph got married the next day on new year's eve at the Troutbeck Inn in Amenia, NY. Yes, New Year's eve!! ;) They definitely made it easy for their friends to remember their anniversary day right ;).
The Troutbeck Inn has some really cool outdoors and since December has been such a warm month, we were even able to shoot tons of stuff outside... I was definitely a happy camper! ;)

Here are some highlights from the weekend ...

Lauren and Daniel

Lauren and Daniel's ceremony was next door to Lauren's grand parents home (literally next door), which made it so easy and quick to move around. After the ceremony we took a nice ride on a 1940's Cadillac to Crest Hollow Country Club where they exchanged vows.

Crest Hollow has some beautiful grounds outside which we didn't think we were going to be able to use because the day started on the rainy side, but as the afternoon went by, the sun came out and we got a gorgeous sundown with beautiful light.

Lauren and Daniel were so much fun to work with. They gave me so much time and were willing to do anything to get cool photos... I love those clients!! I had photographed them a few months ago for their engagement session and I know that it was going to be a cool experience.

I also had the good fortune of working with one of my good friends Carlos Varela. I was stuck without an assistant for that day becasue of Christmas weekend, and he offered to give me a hand... Thanks Carlos!!

Here are some of the photos from the wedding... and I'll throw a couple from the engagement session as well ;)
