Back in the water

Summer is in full swing and Rachel and I have already started this season¹s underwater sessions. We had 4 awesome subjects a couple of weeks ago (see images below) and we can¹t wait to do some more.

We are incredibly grateful to Cathy and Nelson for allowing us to use their home and pool to do this shoot. They are huge supporters of art and we value so much the support they give us in our own art making...thank you, thank you thank you!

Despite a rainy Saturday afternoon Courtney, Robert and their bridal party were game for photos. Plan A was to take photos around the city in a couple of locations. We arrived at the Public Library on 5th first. My idea was to take just a couple of shots in front of the building, but as soon as we got there the rain started pouring down.
Plan B had to be implemented so we all ran up to the entrance of the building and found cover. It was a beautiful place for photos so we just kept on going.
Thanks guys for putting up with the rain ;)

I didn't know we needed a permit to shoot on the outside of the building... and we were almost kicked out (in the middle of the rain!!), but Rachel had a card under her sleeve, so big thanks for making it happen...

Engagement Sessions

Engagement sessions are one of my favorite shoots. I love them because they are a great way to get to know my clients and for them to get to know me, there is no pressure, we have lots of time, we get to walk around the city and find new spots for photos, and we just have fun taking the photos.
