Summer time.... busy time

The past couple of weeks have been pretty busy for me. I've had a few weddings, engagement sessions, babies and some underwater shooting. I thought it would be cool to show some of the images from the last coupe of weeks in a mix way.... just so you can see how diverse my life is and why I love my job so much... Here goes:

Weekday wedding two...

The second Wednesday wedding was Simone and Joe's.

Their wedding took place in a cool winery in Long Island, Raphael's.
It was an intimate wedding with their closest friends and family. Joe is partner in one of the cool spots in the lower east side, Inoteca, so they made sure they had great food and wine ;)

The winery is a small one, but very charming and we found a few spots to take some fun photos. Here are some of them:

Weekday weddings...

In the past two weeks I've had two weddings on Wednesdays.

The first one was from Tichanda and Vaughn. They had contacted me a couple of months ago to find out about me shooting their wedding next year. We were going to meet to talk about the details and Tichanda calls me a couple of days before the meeting asking "I know we are meeting to talk about our wedding for next year, but are you available on June 12?". That was quite a change in date!!

They changed the date of the wedding because they had won a contest on Brides.com. And the price was to have a wedding on June 12 during caribbean week. Part of their prize was a honeymoon paid for... not bad uh!

We met at my studio a couple of weeks before the wedding and I knew that they will be lots of fun to work with.

The day of the wedding was a full one... sunshine, rain, and sunshine again.... we made the best of it and came out with some cool images... here are some:

Leslie and Steve

It is always fun to see new faces at a wedding, but when you see familiar faces you have a different connection and it feels like you are closer to the family.

I had met with Leslie and Steve more than a year ago to discuss their plans for their wedding and at the meeting I mentioned how much I like to travel and do destination weddings. Before I knew it, Leslie had booked me for her wedding and signed me up for her brother Will's wedding as well ;)

So this was the second wedding from the family that I photographed. It was so nice to see the same people I met in Mexico last year.

If you have read my blog before, you probably already know that I have this "thing" with mirrors... (and umbrellas ;)). While Leslie was getting ready in a room at the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens and I spotted a mirror and I just started thinking of what cool things we could do with it... so we took the mirror for a ride. Here are some of the photos we took on Sunday:

Wedding in Pennsylvania

Amanda and Victor got married on Saturday at the Talamore country club in Ambler, Pennsylvania. It was a hot day!

There is a golf course on the property and it was just too tempting for me to use the green!! Of course no heels on it... we didn't want to disturb the golfer's game.
We took some photos right next to the actual green that turned out pretty cool.

We had a fun day! Here are some photos:
