Wedding at home...

Heather and Ian had their wedding at Heather's parents house. It is definitely not an easy task to have 120+ guests on your back yard, but Steve (Heather's dad) had everything under control ;)

They had Phillip Ferrari and Barbara Kelly from Bon Vie Events plan the wedding and what a fantastic job they did. They found great vendors for this wedding. Christine Nunn from Picnic Caterers had great food, Garry Coulter fun dj, and of course a great photographer ;)

Here are some photos from the day:

Jennifer and John

Jefi (as all of her family calls her) and John got married in White Plains on Friday. After stopping traffic outside of the church after the ceremony they headed to The C. V. Rich Mansion where the dancing happened all night, even though Jefi had broke her foot a few days before the wedding. She really wanted to have some fun!

Crab Fest Wedding

Susan and Mike also had an unusual wedding this past weekend.
The wedding took place at Mike's Crab house in Annapolis. The restaurant is located next to the water and has some cool docks where we played around.

Food was yummy too ;) but I didn't dig into the crabs directly because it would have a bit messy on my camera equipment.

LOVE is in the air...

This past Sunday I photographed Lynda and Jeff's wedding. They had a different kind of wedding. It was only the two of them and their moms! The ceremony took place in Central Park and the party took place in New York City!!! After the ceremony we spent a few hours going around the city having fun with photos... we spent some time in the park, went to the Public Library on 5th Ave, stopped by the LOVE sculpture on 6th ave, did some Salsa dancing in the South Street sea port, walked over the Brooklyn bridge and finished it up at the top of the GE building having dinner at the Rainbow Room Grill.

More Underwater photos

Here is a short slideshow with more of the photos we took in Canouan last week.

Enjoy..

Wendy and Ariel

Wendy and Ariel got married at the Woodbury Country Club on Saturday night, but before going to the ceremony we stopped by at the Vanderbilt Museum Centerport, NY. What a place!! I had never been there before and I will make sure to get a chance to go back there. What a beautiful place.

We took some fun photos with Wendy, Ariel and the bridal party and then ran to get married ;)

An underwater couple ...

I just got back from Canouan Island in the Grenadines and I cannot wait to share some of the photos that we took at Charline and Otis' wedding.

One great thing about destination weddings is that I get to know everyone better and everyone gets to know me as well ;) because I spend at least 3 days with the family and friends. This is so great for photos because when it comes to getting people organized, people listen to someone who they have a relationship with (at least listen better ;)). This was the case at this wedding, because by the time we were taking photos at the beach and the pier we were running a bit late and the light was going down quickly. Everyone was so exited about having the pictures taken that things went nice and easy.

It also helped to have a great event coordinator, Nicole, who was just outstanding... thanks Nicole for keeping everything on point ;)

All in all, things turned out perfect for the location. And what's even better, which I was so exited, is that Charline and Otis' agreed on doing the "day after" shoot in the swimming pool!! You'll see some of the images bellow.

So enough talk, and here are some of the images from the weekend:

I will post some more underwater photos soon...

Always choose window seat!! yet again

I arrived to Canouan yesterday. It was a long day of traveling... I left NY at 8 am to San Juan then to St. Lucia and arrived to Canouan (Granadines) at almost 6 pm. As alway I chose a window seat and this time I was right next to the engine of the plane.... With this shot, it looks like the engine just stopped!! but not... it was running fine and we landed... not so smoothly, but we did ;)
Tomorrow is Charline and Otis wedding and today we went to scope out the locations for photos and the place looks incredible. The wedding is taking place at the Raffles Hotel (check it out!) There are so many great spots... I am really exited about tomorrow's shoot.

In the past couple of weeks I have had a few engagement sessions. It is great to meet my clients before the wedding. We all had a lot of fun taking photos in Prospect Park, Central Park, Brooklyn Museum. Congratulations to Sarah and Alex, Alison and Wyat, Carolyn and Frak.
